About the job Infrastructure / Solution Architect (On-Prem Data Center)
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure / Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end on-premises infrastructure solutions across enterprise data center environments. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on architecture experience, the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, and deep expertise across compute, virtualization, storage, networking, and resiliency solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Design end-to-end on-premises infrastructure solutions across enterprise data center environments.

Define and maintain infrastructure standards, reference architectures, and design patterns.

Translate business and application requirements into robust, scalable technical architectures.

Develop comprehensive architecture artifacts, including:

High-Level Designs (HLDs)
-
Low-Level Designs (LLDs)
-
Architecture diagrams
-
Capacity and performance models
-
Data Center & Platform Architecture
-
Architect, design, and optimize the following platforms:

Servers & compute platforms
-
Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V)
-
Enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NAS, backup platforms)
-
Network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, firewalls, load balancers)

Design and implement high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery solutions.

Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, and infrastructure optimization across environments.
Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Solution Architect / Infrastructure Architect in enterprise data center environments.

Strong hands-on expertise in on-prem infrastructure architecture and design.

Experience producing detailed architecture documentation and design artifacts.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with business, application, and technical stakeholders.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Relevant certifications (VMware, Microsoft, networking, storage) are a strong plus.
