UI/UX Engineer
Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
- Understands project specifications and user psychology.
- Design prototypes and assets for web and/or mobile application projects.
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and their appearance.
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables).
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
- Stay up to date with current best practices and technologies.
- Learn new and emerging skills and/or technologies as projects require.
- Participate in every phase of the software lifecycle, actively contributing to the solution at every step.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Arts, or equivalent years of experience.
- Team player, solution-oriented, critical-thinker, responsible, proactive, self-managed, driven, and motivated.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously or with a team.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role.
- Proficient in vector design tools and UI/UX wireframe/prototyping tools.
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in converting designs to HTML/CSS is preferred.
- Knowledge of mobile and web interface design guidelines such as Android material design and iOS human interface guidelines is preferred.
