RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Understands project specifications and user psychology.
• Design prototypes and assets for web and/or mobile application projects.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and their appearance.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables).
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
• Stay up to date with current best practices and technologies.
• Learn new and emerging skills and/or technologies as projects require.
• Participate in every phase of the software lifecycle, actively contributing to the solution at every step.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Arts, or equivalent years of experience.
• Team player, solution-oriented, critical-thinker, responsible, proactive, self-managed, driven, and motivated.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously or with a team.
• Integrity, passion, and collaborative spirit are expected.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role.
• Proficient in vector design tools and UI/UX wireframe/prototyping tools.
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Proficiency in converting designs to HTML/CSS is preferred.
• Knowledge of mobile and web interface design guidelines such as Android material design and iOS human interface guidelines is preferred.
