Given the fast growth of ByteDance in the world, we are in the midst of creating revolutionary platform ByteDance products. Our team is responsible for data analysis of the core business in ByteDance. With various innovative projects that are being incubated, data can be used to guide the innovative business from 0 to 1, starting from the fundamentals; it can also be analyzed to find the direction of breakthroughs and empower mature products to continue to grow. Our responsibility is to find the most suitable indicators and dimensions from data generated ever day to find insights that can be optimised from the business innovation, and to implement our findings into growth. 

You have broad and deep knowledge in data science and analytics and are proficient in analyzing and implementing data-related projects. You see the bigger picture of the business and demonstrate a leadership mindset. You will provide mentorship to other data scientists and up-level the overall perspective of the Data Science team.

• Lead a data science team that delivers actionable results through your combination of data science solutions, business skills, statistical knowledge, and understanding of data
• Responsible for the data science and data analysis related work of the enterprise under ByteDance. Including the design and analysis of various A/B tests in the business, evaluating the effects of product optimization and marketing activities, analyzing changes in core indicators, and evaluating the impact on customer versions, reporting systems, data infrastructure.
• Manage the team's performance and motivate team members to deliver expected outcomes.
• Actively guide and devise methods and strategies to obtain and extract data to derive business insights to help the business to solve problems and clear optimization for business improvement points.

• Bachelor Degree in Data Analytics or relevant field.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in building and leading Data Science team management.
• At least 5 years of experience in Data Science in the  Internet industry.
• Proven experience in successfully guiding business optimization and promotion.
• Proficient in English is a must, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
• Strong leadership & perseverance, able to proactively drive business through ambiguity.
• Good business understanding, able to judge and make sound decisions.
