• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Understands project specifications and user psychology
• Design prototypes and assets for web and/or mobile application projects
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches, and tables)
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Stay up to date with current best practices and technologies
• Learn new and emerging skills and/or technologies as projects require
• Participate in every phase of the software lifecycle, actively contributing to the solution at every step

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent years of experience
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software engineering / design environment. Start-up experience preferred. Fresh grads are welcome to apply - we have associate / junior positions.
• Team player, solution-oriented, critical-thinker, responsible, proactive, self-managed, driven, and motivated
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work autonomously or with a team
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Engineer or similar role
• Proficient in vector design tools and UI/UX wireframe/prototyping tools
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Proficiency in converting designs to HTML/CSS/JS, video editing, mobile app design is preferred
