Location: Central London
Working Hours: Mostly Early morning shifts from 5:00 AM, alongside some daytime and evening shifts on a rotating rota. 5 days per week, including weekends and bank holidays.

A premium bakery in the heart of London is looking for a Baker to join its production team. Known for its handcrafted croissants, danishes and signature pastries, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with some previous bakery experience who is keen to learn, develop new skills and build a long-term career within a professional artisan bakery.
Full training and support will be provided to help you develop your technical skills and become part of a highly skilled bakery team.
The Role
Working as part of the bakery production team, you will assist with the daily preparation, proofing, baking and finishing of artisan viennoiserie products, ensuring every product meets the bakery's high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, proof and bake croissants, pain au chocolat, danishes and other viennoiserie products.
- Finish pastries using glazing, icing, piping, fillings and other decorative techniques.
- Follow recipes and production methods accurately to ensure consistent quality.
- Prepare ingredients and workstations for daily production.
- Work efficiently as part of a busy production team.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Report any production or equipment issues when required.
About You
- Some recent experience working in a commercial bakery, pastry kitchen or similar food production environment.
- A genuine interest in artisan baking and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Looking for a stable, long-term position where you can continue to develop your skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with repetitive manual tasks.
- Good attention to detail and able to maintain consistent quality throughout the day.
- Able to multitask, stay organised and work efficiently under production deadlines.
- Reliable, hardworking, proactive and a supportive team player.
- Available to work from 5:00 AM, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Basic spoken English.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Food Hygiene Certificate is an advantage but not essential.
