The Role
A senior leadership opportunity for an experienced General Manager (Multi-Site Operations) to take full ownership of business performance across retail and production. This role will oversee operations, commercial strategy, people leadership and brand execution, ensuring consistent excellence across multiple locations.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, delivering strong financial results and supporting continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Lead day-to-day operations across multiple retail sites and central production
- Maintain exceptional standards in product quality, customer experience and brand presentation
- Drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the business
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety and relevant legislation
Leadership & People Management
- Lead and develop a high-performing senior management team
- Foster a collaborative, accountable and positive working culture
- Oversee recruitment, training and succession planning
- Strengthen communication and alignment across departments
Commercial & Business Strategy
- Drive overall financial performance including budgets, labour costs and profitability
- Develop and implement operational and commercial strategies
- Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
- Oversee reporting and business analytics
Marketing & Brand Development
- Support brand growth and positioning within the competitive London market
- Collaborate on campaigns, product launches and seasonal initiatives
- Ensure consistent brand delivery across all customer touchpoints
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer engagement
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a multi-site General Manager / Operations Director / Head of Operations role within hospitality, bakery, café or food retail
- Strong commercial and financial acumen (P&L management essential)
- Experience driving business growth and operational strategy
- Proven leadership experience managing senior teams
- Passion for premium food, hospitality and customer experience
- Highly organised, resilient and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
