RMA Automotive is seeking a highly driven Global Sales Manager Emergency, First Response to lead our growth in the medical and fire vehicle sector. This pivotal role focuses on driving sales of medical ambulances, fire trucks, and emergency response vehicles by leveraging RMAs world-class modification expertise and your established relationships with medical OEMs, fire/rescue suppliers, and government agencies. The position is based on the Laemchabang and reports to the Commercial Director.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Growth & Market Expansion
- Achieve annual sales targets for medical and fire vehicles in assigned territories.
- Convert leads from governments, hospitals, NGOs, and fire departments into high-value orders.
- Identify and secure tenders for emergency vehicles (ambulances, fire trucks, mobile clinics).
Medical & Fire Industry Partnerships
- Leverage existing relationships with medical OEMs (Siemens, Philips, GE) to co-develop solutions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as Governments (fire departments, disaster agencies), industries (oil plants, airports, mines), military bases, hospitals/universities, private firefighting companies, and NGOs.
- Present RMAs modification capabilities to OEMs and end-users (e.g., We customize vehicles for your CT scanners/rescue gear).
Technical & Operational Support
- Guide clients on vehicle specifications, compliance standards (EN 1789, KKK), and customization options.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs meet medical/fire regulations.
- Oversee project timelines from proposal through delivery.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitors and industry trends in the emergency vehicle sector.
- Report on sales pipeline, tender opportunities, and client feedback.
Background and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Management, Biomedical Engineering, or Business.
- Training or certification in EMS or healthcare-related standards.
- 5+ years in B2B sales (medical equipment, ambulances, fire trucks, or emergency vehicles).
- Proven relationships with medical OEMs (Siemens, Philips, GE) or fire/rescue suppliers.
- Strong record of achieving sales targets and opening new accounts.
- Understanding of vehicle modifications and medical/fire equipment integration.
- Knowledge of vehicle certifications (EU/US ambulance standards).
- Experience with government procurement processes (MOH, defense, municipalities).
