Group IT Operations (Infrastructure) - Assistant Manager

Key Objectives:

• Oversee day-to-day IT operations, including system monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including resource allocation and scheduling.

• Lead the hands-on delivery of changes to the Group's IT Infrastructure systems, processes, and procedures. This includes continuous analysis of emerging technologies and industry best practices to develop and implement actionable improvement plans.

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and ensure IT operations align with business needs.

• Lead the implementation of the IT Disaster Recovery (IT DRP).

• Assist on development and delivery of measures and metrics to support the assessment, reporting and ongoing improvement of the IT Infrastructure strategy.

• Assist IT asset management team to ensure assets full lifetime cycle value is achieved.

• Responsible for maintaining the Groups global database, operating system, network connection, across multiple sites/time zones of IT services to meet the functional objectives of the business.

• Hand-on management of on-premise and cloud services, delivery services, patching such as ERP software, Active Directory Service, Network Service, Exchange service, Website/Application back-end, Backups, Internet and VPN Connectivity.

• Establish and enforce Group IT policies and standards. Conduct IT inspections, identify trends, determine necessary system improvements, and implement changes.

• Oversee and guide the work of the Infrastructure team members.

• Provide regular reports to senior management on critical IT Infrastructure matters and incidents.

• Deputize for the Group IT Operations Manager.

Background and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing others in an IT environment and with hands-on IT technical experience.
• Proficient in automotive software including RODEO and Team Center.
• Extensive knowledge across a range of Microsoft technologies (Exchange, Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Navision), ERP systems (Oracle NetSuite, SAP Business One, Odoo), and infrastructure components (Cisco/Aruba Networking Devices, FortiGate IPsec VPN, Linux Web Servers, Zabbix, Grafana, AWS EC2).
• Experienced in automating tasks and processes utilizing tools such as scripting languages, Power Automate, RPA, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Demonstrated success in leading, developing, and motivating IT teams or non-IT teams.
• Strong business concepts and ability to develop solutions that meet stakeholders' needs.
• Understand Thai speaker and have good English communication skills.
