Job summary:

This senior AP Accountant position provides an opportunity for those who would like to acquire experience from the large, complexity and diversity on the multi-international Group like RMA.

This role mainly focuses on performing day-to-day payable functions, preparing and verifying accounting transactions related to P2P process including tax, intercompany transaction, and internal report and managing payment plans to suppliers for the assigned business entities.

This position directly reports to the AP Shared Service Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Completing day-to-day accounts payable activities and operations, including managing and maintaining accounts payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness for the tractor business units.
  • Processing the receipt of invoices, verifying, and record of transaction, ensuring accuracy, completeness and proper authorization in accordance with company's policies and regulation.
  • Preparing and submitting the documents in relation to Withholding Tax and VAT in a timely manner.
  • Verifying vendor accounts, documents, paying vendors, and resolving purchase orders, invoices, or payment discrepancies.
  • Work with the operations team to define account codes and ensure all documents are completed within deadlines for timely payments.
  • Monitor outstanding accounts payable, adjust long-outstanding balances, and confirm vendor balances at year-end.
  • Reconcile and analysis of goods receipt and invoice receipt and prepare reports on outstanding items. and Confirm Intercompany balances and transactions every month-end.
  • Supporting / Creating process migration / process streamlining and improvement.
  • Ad-hoc as assignment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting.
  • 2 - 5 years of experience from operation accounting in Senior level from middle size Companies
  • Having good basis tax knowledge.
  • Good leadership skills with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Service mind, proactive, team-player, self-motivated, creative problem-solving skills
  • Good commands in English (Speaking and Writing).
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Offices Program especially Excel. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
