Overview and purpose of the role
We are currently seeking an HR Officer for our Singapore Food Business Palms. Our business is growing and we are looking for an individual who is dynamic, reliable, and has a passion for the F&B industry. This person will be instrumental in managing our full-cycle recruitment process and ensuring effective HR operations across multiple stores. This role includes sourcing and evaluating candidates, coordinating interviews, overseeing staff enrolment in our HR Payroll System, and collaborating closely with store managers for roster management and training coordination.
Key Objectives:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Develop and post job advertisements on various platforms, including JobStreet.
- Build relationships with Universities, Polytechnics etc. as a potential source of employees.
- Evaluate and screen candidates sourced from JobStreet and other channels.
- Coordinate with candidates to arrange interviews with Hiring Managers.
- Conduct initial interviews and participate in the decision-making process.
- Handle job offers, negotiate packages, and ensure seamless onboarding.
- Collect and verify administrative documents from new staff for payroll system accuracy.
- Conduct reference checking for all successful candidates.
- Assist in employer branding activities to promote and attract talented candidates.
- Other tasks assigned by General Manager.
HR Administration:
- Enroll new employees into our HR Payroll System (JustLogin), ensuring all data is accurately captured.
- Maintain up-to-date rosters in collaboration with the Multi-Stores Manager.
- Ensure accurate recording and tabulation of working and overtime hours for payroll processing.
- Assist in the development and implementation of training programs according to local requirements.
- Contribute to the creation of incentive programs and KPIs for management approval.
Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work closely with the General Manager, Finance Manager, and Store Managers.
- Provide regular updates to the General Manager on recruitment status and HR operations.
- Engage in employer branding activities to attract talented candidates.
Background and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in recruitment and HR operations.
- Excellent networking and time management skills.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken communications.
- Strong organizational, networking skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Proficient in using HR software and systems, particularly JustLogin.
