Overview of the role

Comin Asia is an innovative Mechanical and Electrical Systems Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) solutions provider with extensive operations through wholly owned operating companies in Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar and project offices through the RMA Group of Companies global footprint. We work with key partners and premium brands to deliver full project life cycle sustainable solutions, with over 1,200 employees engaged in key projects across a wide variety of sectors.

We are looking for a Sales Engineer, who will be working with the Comin Asia steam department. 

This person needs to be fluent in Thai and be based out of Phnom Penh. 

The main duties of the role are as follows:

  • Inspecting customer sites to ensure compliance of steam system usage
  • Carrying out surveys of the existing steam system usage
  • Test the on-site steam traps using equipment provided
  • Generate and submit reports to the customer and clients, on recommendations on energy savings and efficiency
  • Installation of new equipment where requested

Background and experience

  • Understanding and use of steam systems through previous on-hand use
  • Expertise of the equipment used on a steam system. This experienced could have been gained from any type of factory, such as a brewery, feedback, or related
  • Steam trap testing experience is desirable though not essential (as training will be provided)
  • Fluency in Thai, with conversational Khmer desirable but not essential.
