About the job Customer Service/ Service Advisor

  • Ensure customer are advised of all work undertaken and of the need for any further or future repair or servicing requirement
  • Ensure customers are noticed of the need and methods of payment prior to collecting vehicles. 
  • Advise customers of the dealership policy with regards to the release of vehicles
  • Collect payment of cash repairs to vehicles at time of customer collection. 
  • Accurately maintain cash/credit recording systems and ensure security of all payments received
  • Ensure dealership approved procedures are adopted for verification of validity when payment is made by cheque, credit card or charge card
  • Ensure all warranty and other free of charge work has been identified and signed for by the customer. 
  • Ensure that customer fully understand the limits and conditions of such work and the effect of repair
  • Maintain the workshop loading system in a timely, up to date and accurate manner, maintain appointment, daily booking and 3 month booking records
  • Administer paperwork systems and control the flow of documentation to enable records and customer/vehicle details to be easily retrieved.
