About the job Technician Team Leader
- Provides assistance to Service Technicians as needed to diagnose and troubleshoot problems
- Promotes a productive working relation with others; acts as a mentor
- Actively listens to concerns; takes action to respond to others needs
- Speaks clearly, concisely, and effectively; clearly explains tasks and procedures
- Has an approachable style; foresters open communication through active listening
- Assists Service Advisors, if necessary, to explain completed repairs to a customers
- Utilized Ford-Provided technical assistance (e.g., Technical Bulletins, Hotlines, OASIS, WDS, other)
- Obtains all necessary certifications
- Uses manuals including diagrams as necessary to complete the repair order
- Completes time ticket according to dealership requirements
- Used computers to look up part availability and repair orders
