CominKhmere is the market leading Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Engineering Solution provider in Cambodia. We employ over 1000 staff within Cambodia in M&E construction project, power transmission & distribution, M&E equipment maintenance and building facilities management as well as sales and aftersales and associated products and technology. Comin has operations in several countries in the Mekong region and is part of RMA Group with diverse businesses in many developing markets within Asia and beyond.
The main role of the position is to be responsible in the entire scope of the mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing and Fire Fighting engineering functions. Supervises and ensure compliance of works.
Responsibilities
- To understand and interpret mechanical plans and prepare other contract documents Knowledgeable in instrumentation and control.
- To supervise and instruct of works to sub-ordinates.
- To make work planning activities.
- To manage material take offs and generation of the BOQ for procurement.
- To source suppliers.
- To negotiate on Technical issues with suppliers.
- To review design intent and comment.
- To prepare design calculations.
- To prepare technical data for RFQs, RFIs, CVIs.
- To plan and review commissioning activities and interfaces with other disciplines.
To perform other relevant tasks as required by Senior Project Manager.
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Knowledge, skills, experience
With at least 10-15 years related experience in Commercial / Mixed use projects.
- Trustworthy; with good moral character and professional integrity.
- Hardworking; can work with less supervision.
- Computer literate; has good communication skills.
- With sense of responsibility and commitment.
- Flexible; can be assigned in various project sites.
