Overview of the role
The position will be responsible for GFSTH business operations and Managing Operational processes and relationships with OEM, Suppliers, and related. As we are growing and expanding the business, this position will be working with the Management team and support new project development to expand business opportunity and revenue.
Key objectives
- Line management; Manage and ensure Sub-Dealers has adequate credit line and collateral and in alignment with annual business target and company policy.
- Risk management; Manage with John Deere Asia, Sub-dealers and Vendors to ensure credit risk requirement and renewal schedule is fulfilled, e.g. Bank guarantee, Trade credit insurance, Wholesale insurance.
- Monitoring Order to Delivery processes of complete goods.
- Regular review of overall operational processes to align current operations and explore possibility of improvement to align with future business plans.
- Review effectiveness of contracts; e.g. Dealer agreement, Agreement with OEMs and Vendors.
- Update and maintain numerous of OEMs, Sub-Dealers and Vendor accounts.
- Maintain professional relationships with financial service providers to explore retail financing options for end user. Serves as a liaison to resolves issues on leasing related.
- Maintain relationships with OEMs, Vendors, Sub-dealers.
- Generate business KPI reports to management, monitor sub-dealer business performance, analyze, and work with management for further business enhancement.
- Review OEM equipment pricing policy. Work with the Managing director to establish pricing and review pricing as necessary
- Work closely with the financial controller on number of tractor in &out for better planning of cash flow and minimize fx rate loss
- Be involved projects development to expand business opportunity and revenue, and other tasks assigned by management
Approximately 80-90% of the time required to be in office (Thonglor, Bangkok), with 10-20% of the time needed to go to the field to meet sub-dealers, or suppliers to understand market environment, and gather feedback for further actions & enhancement.
Background and experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or the equivalent fields.
- At least 5 years experience in Operations, preferably in automotive, or agricultural industries.
- Established track record of operational excellence and results orientation.
- Establish track record of developing and executing on business strategies.
- High level of emotional intelligence to develop and maintain large scale customer and supplier relationships.
- High level of communication, organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze and interpret reports and data.
- Business level of written and spoken English.
