Overview of the Role
The Operations & Networks Manager reports into the Managing Director of the Agricultural division, and has three direct reports. This role is pivotal in managing operational workflows, projects execution, distributor and sub-dealer network development, credit management, and compliance processes. The position requires strong leadership and coordination across functions to drive business efficiency and support long-term expansion and project initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage efficient operational workflows and procedures.
- Lead and execute projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
- Oversee distributor/sub-dealer recruitment, appointment, performance, and compliance.
- Plan and manage brand distribution footprint across Thailand.
- Administer the distributor/sub-dealer contracts and annual performance reviews.
- Drive sub-dealer performance improvement initiatives and mentoring programs.
- Monitor the order-to-delivery process and manage credit lines and risk. Establish strong relationships with financial institutions for financing solutions.
- Ensure effectiveness and legal compliance of all contracts with OEMs and vendors.
- Centralize system access and uphold segregation of duties.
- Collaborate with management to implement best practices in administration and operations.
- Maintain strong communication with internal teams, OEMs, customers, and suppliers.
Background and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.
- At least 15 years of experience in finance or operations, preferably within automotive or agricultural industries.
- Demonstrated excellence in operational leadership and strategic execution.
- Strong overall experience in project management, network development, and credit risk management.
- High emotional intelligence for managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
- Proficiency in operational tools and software, along with strong organizational and decision-making abilities
Additional Details
This role involves moderate travel (approximately 40%) to field locations, including visits to customers, sub-dealers, and suppliers to monitor project implementation and gather market insights for strategic improvements. The position also requires active participation in business growth initiatives and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with RMA Group's long-term objectives.
