About the job Deputy GM

Role and Responsibility:  

  1. Maintains a good understanding of the automotive sector in the local Market, particularly premium competitors in the local area
  2. Supports own first line team (e.g. Sales Manager, Service Manager, Parts Manager, Accountant) to develop detailed short and medium term plans for each area to deliver the wider vision for the Retailer
  3. Uses an understanding of the Jaguar Land Rover brands and full product range (e.g. Approved, Warranty, Gear, SVO) and key tools (e.g. CEIP website, Global Retailer Marketing System) to lead the business
  4. Empowers and supports own first line team to deliver an outstanding customer experience and achieve the Key Performance Indicators for the Retailer
  5. Uses detailed sales, service and parts performance data (e.g. from the Jaguar Land Rover Composite) to understand current performance and support individual managers to make improvements
  6. Coaches individual members of the first line team to develop their ability to manage their team and the performance of their area
  7. Ensures that the Retailer is operating in accordance with the key JLR processes (e.g. Service Experience Framework, Purchase Experience Framework) and achieving its statutory, environmental and health and safety responsibilities
  8. Works with Accountant to establish and maintain financial controls/reporting and manage funding for the Retailer
  9. Builds relationships with Jaguar Land Rover and industry bodies to represent and develop the business and the brands
  10. Manage sales nationwide, Motivate team to work harder
  11. Manage commission, Support stock for branches, Plan for new opportunity or sales channel
  12. Support sales managers and sales closing nationwide
  13. Work with financing companies to run promotion campaign
  14. Analyze opportunity for new product, Manage stock, Plan for right stock, Clear aged stock, Costing and pricing
  15.  Manage product cost to meet expected margin, Analyze the right selling price of product
  16. Plan for prices, Budget, Plan for sales (JLR and RMA), Plan for production volume and color
  17. Manage Marketing, Campaign, Communication/Advertising, Artwork, Market data (Registration and Import data)
  18. Join networking event to promote brands/products, Manage Administrative Department

Requirement: 

  1. Business acumen
  2. Presentation and analysis skills
  3. Strong communication skills (English and Local language)
  4. Minimum 5 years of Experience Management or middle management role
  5. Have a strong leadership and management
