Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP - Project Director for a key business within our group. The location of where the position is based is not as yet defined, but will be in South-East Asia (likely in one of the following locations - Bangkok, Phnom Penh, Vientiane).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams strategically, establishing clear objectives, priorities, and expectations.
  • Formulate comprehensive project blueprints in collaboration with stakeholders, encompassing scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.
  • Be involved in the tender management process, taking accountability of the development and delivery of projects both pre and post tender.
  • Efficiently manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure project alignment with the organization's overarching strategic goals and objectives.
  • Supervise projects by overseeing financial transactions, executing project plans, and monitoring performance.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop proactive plans for issue resolution.
  • Foster transparent communication with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and executives.
  • Uphold quality standards and client expectations in project deliverables.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, making necessary adjustments to maintain financial adherence.
  • Assess project performance and team productivity, implementing enhancements and best practices when necessary.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.

Qualifications/Skills required:

  • 7+ years of experience in high rise projects and managing teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
  • Must have PMP Certification
  • Familiarity with project planning tools, such as MS Project or similar.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
