Job Descriptions: 

  • Develop and oversee production schedules to ensure timely completion of assembly tasks
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure materials, labor, and equipment are used efficiently
  • ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards before they reach the consumer
  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures throughout the assembly process
  • supervise and manage assembly line workers, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance

  • Analyze production data to identity areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Work closely with other departments such as design, supply chain, and quality control to ensure a smooth production process
  • Prepare and present production report to upper management
  • Provide leadership to departments under control
  • Coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high-performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions
  • Set department objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance
  • Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership to facilitate the exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements
  • Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of staff and visitors
  • Responsible for developing the appropriate organizational structure, resource plans and culture to support the business objectives and customer deliverables
  • Provide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained enabling them to achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles
  • Complete regular performance reviews, and manage attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues and procedures as appropriate
  • Establish a strategy and best practices for staff to ensure the achievement of overall business objectives. Work with the Financial & Accounting team to translate strategy into specific annual performance goals and departmental objectives including KPIs.
    
    Job Requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, with a proven track record in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong planning skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in production management software.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Certifications ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 auditor.
