Overview and purpose of the role
The head of finance role is responsible for the leadership and development of continuous improvements in the Finance and Accounting functions of our Automotive Dealership business. This role shall lead the strategic planning and budgeting of the financial objectives and ensure the correctness of the financial data and business performance.
Key responsibilities
- Leading all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
- Presenting financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statement with analysis of financial statement results.
- Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
- Ensure credibility and financial cashflow by providing timely and accurate analysis of CF budgets, financial trends, and forecasts.
- Providing strategic recommendations to the Managing Director and the Head of business through commercial analysis of data and financial performance.
- Response for annual budget preparation that includes reviewing present and future business plans to develop the annual budget.
- Monitor and control business performance by comparison of actual results versus budget continuously and propose the areas of improvement.
- Lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining the ERP system.
- Monitoring and managing the company's bank relationships and liquidity management.
- Support on internal control implementation to makes sure that the business has proper control environment.
- Support the ad-hoc project according to the assignment.
Background and experience
- Masters degree in finance/accounting.
- At least 5 years experience as senior Finance Manager role (Automotive Dealership business is plus).
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
- Good analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Good Command of business English.
- Commercial and business awareness.
