About the job Technical Sales Manager - Mods

We are seeking a specialized expect to take on the role of Technical Sales Manager, based in Bangkok. This person will have the responsibility of developing vehicle modification sales focused on, but not limited to, the Europe, Asia and Africa regions.
The main responsibilities of the role is as follows:
- Sales and business development of new and existing accounts, to expand reach and presence into current and strategically identified future markets
- Managing the existing customer accounts portfolio, to maximize customer profitability and continuous improve accounts management service
- Develop new sales leads either online or offline, to provide a readily available pipeline of potential sales that can be actioned with short notice
- Putting together and closing deals, including responding to tenders, utilizing both vehicle enhancement knowledge as well through deep understanding and application of the customer engagement lifecycle
- Driving sales on both complete vehicle units as well as individual parts and accessories, though enhancing relationships with our partners, distributors, vehicle dealerships, fleet customers, and related stakeholders
- Work closely with the partners regional management teams and support them with their initiatives to achieve close, collaborative relationships
- Develop sales and marketing strategies to expand existing revenue streams whilst creating new channels of business and distribution
- Provide technical support to internal teams, to support in potential upselling of solutions related to vehicle enhancements
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and align technical solutions accordingly.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, providing technical support, and resolving issues.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products/services, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote our solutions and generate leads.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and documentation in response to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and customer support to ensure customer satisfaction and product success.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and market trends to identify new opportunities for business growth on Mods opportunities.
Experience/background:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering and/or Business
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and technologies.
- Proven experience in technical sales or a similar customer-facing role.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in an automotive related sales role, with experience developing and working with clients across multiple geographies
- Experience with working with channel partners, aid and development and government business
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, presentations, and events.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving results with high customer service acumen
- Fluent in English and an additional language
