Overview of the Role

The Asia-Pacific Fleet Sales Executive is responsible for developing Aid & Development (A&D) vehicle business sales across selected Asia-Pacific regions. This role involves managing existing customer portfolios, identifying new fleet customers, and increasing sales and revenue for the company. As the key driver of fleet business in the Asia-Pacific region, the selected candidate will work closely with Ford Global Fleet Sales (FGFS), local partners, government agencies, and multinational organizations to expand RMAs market presence and sales success.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Market Expansion:

  • Increase sales in the A&D sector while maximizing profit.
  • Expand into new markets and acquire new customers, particularly governments, vehicle modifiers, and multinational companies.
  • Develop long-term plans to execute the company's sales strategy.
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities in Asia-Pacific.

Client & Partner Engagement:

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring continued business growth.
  • Work closely with local partners or customers in each country to explore new sales prospects.
  • Collaborate with customers and end-users to identify new vehicle product requirements.

Market & Competitive Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain market intelligence within the A&D sector to track upcoming projects and trends.
  • Understand market dynamics within the region and RMAs competitive advantage.
  • Utilize strong negotiation skills to enhance customer engagement and drive deals.

Financial & Sales Performance:

  • Ensure financial targets (e.g., sales volume, revenue, and margins) are met.
  • Manage budgets and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.

Internal & External Coordination:

  • Report to the Regional Manager - Asia Pacific.
  • Work closely with the RMA Automotive Product Development Team and other key internal departments (Sales Administration, Marketing, Logistics, and Production).
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers from vehicle modification companies to ensure smooth project execution.

Travel Requirement: 30-50% of the time across Asia-Pacific countries.

Background and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing.
  • Proven international sales experience, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Knowledge of automotive industry trends and experience with fleet sales.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills (both spoken and written).
  • Results-driven: Energetic and dynamic personality with a strong focus on customer service.

Additional Skills (Preferred but Not Mandatory):

  • Basic knowledge of financial sales, trading services, and fleet management.
  • Understanding of automotive modification processes.
  • Experience working with government or multinational fleet sales.
