Overview of the role
This position will be responsible for executing and supervising the sales and marketing operations of sub-dealers, including the implementation of the sales strategy, vision, and annual objectives, sales processes, and marketing plan. The role also involves communicating product offerings to sales professionals for customer promotion. Additionally, it ensures preliminary customer relationship for a dedicated area. Analyzes market, customer segments, competition, and supports the definition, execution of suitable marketing strategies along with tactics for the business.
Key objectives
- Manages the relationship and customer experience strategy for dealers in the network.
- Initiates and manages consistent and well-understood process to identify and communicate dealers pressures, plans, and problems.
- Communicates and collaborates with internal support teams and customers third-party advisors to develop unique solutions to customer requirements.
- Facilitates regular dealer review meetings.
- Updates and retains relevant dealer information, insights, and plans in the customer relationship management system.
- Maintains and communicates current knowledge of dealer operational requirements, both industry and / or business goals.
- Monitors and provides timely communication of competitive activity to management.
- Provides value to dealers by developing solutions that save time, reduce risk, and increase profits.
- Proactively manages customer and dealership interactions that meet the individual needs of dealers.
- Engages with dealership personnel (Sales, Parts, Service, Integrated Solutions, Admin) when needed in defining a customer solution, completing a sale, answering dealers questions and ensuring dealers needs are met.
- Represents the company for the sale of equipment, parts, labor, and technology-based products and services to assigned dealers.
- Meets sales volume and sales objectives of assigned dealers.
- Influences dealer trade cycles and current and future needs.
- Maintains current product knowledge of all equipment, parts, and services available to dealers.
- Maintains current knowledge of financing, risk management options, industry trends and governmental regulations to assist dealers with securing the purchase of a solution.
- Actively participates in local/regional industry associations.
- Other ad hoc supporting tasks as a good teamwork to support business objectives.
Background and experience
- Bachelors degree in business administration, engineering, or the equivalent fields.
- At least 10 years of experience in sales and distribution, preferably in automotive and agricultural industries.
- Proven track record of managerial experience and skill in sales and distribution.
- Strong understanding of dealership management, agricultural equipment desirable.
- Experience with, or detailed understanding of, managing dealer networks.
- Proven history of developing and executing on business strategies
- Proven track record of operational excellence and results orientation.
- Good at computer literatures: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Language requirement: English, Thai
