Overview and purpose of the role :
The Financial Reporting Analyst at RMA Group is responsible for financial budgeting, reporting and analysis across all entities, You'll collaborate with various teams to develop and maintain reporting systems that meet group standards, while also implementing and maintaining data analysis solutions. This role is a key member of the Group Financial Planning and Analysis team of RMA Group Head Office, located in Bangkok, Thailand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with producing consolidated financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually) at all levels of the organization, including investigating and reporting on budget-to-actual results.
- Support entities with budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting to headquarters, including input to EPS/reporting system.
- Monitor and verify the accuracy of financial information entered into the EPS/reporting system.
- Maintain the current report catalog, including improving existing reports and automating manual reports as well as developing new ones.
- Work with stakeholders to develop/modify data models, reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business needs and strategic initiatives.
- Work with BI tools such as Power BI to design and monitor online dashboards and reports.
- Identify data sources needed to support modeling, for example: ERP, CRM, social media, Intranet, SQL Server, Data Warehouse(s), Excel.
- Develop a strong partnership with accounting, working closely with them during closing cycles and to gain technical accounting recommendations, including ensuring the correct application of group accounting policies.
- Work with application suppliers/implementers to track and solve technical problems.
- Identify opportunities to improve and optimize planning, forecasting processes, and procedures (existing and new).
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience in financial reporting and analysis, ideally within an international organization.
- Proven experience with Power BI and familiarity with SharePoint, Dynamics NAV, and Dynamics AX.
- Knowledge of SQL/RDBMS a plus.
- Tech-savvy with strong computer skills and advanced Excel proficiency.
- Quick learner who can adapt to new concepts and tools efficiently.
- Fluency in English.
