Job Description:

  • Determine the cost of inventory by assessing various factors including purchase price, transportation costs, and other related expenses.
  • Maintain and update cost information in the inventory management system.
  • Analyze inventory variances and report discrepancies.
  • Review invoices related to inventory purchases for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Post inventory-related invoices in the accounting system.
  • Collaborate with the procurement and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely recording of inventory transactions.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in cost accounting.
  • Experience in calculating inventory costs and reviewing/posting inventory-related invoices.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
