• Functional Responsibilities
o IT Operations Management: You will lead the IT
- Operations Team to deliver a best IT Services for
your branch. Your tasks will include but not limited
to:
- Maintaining a good relationship with business unit
heads. Coordinate with other departments deem
necessary.
- Analyze needs of users & departments; prioritize
modifications to core systems in collaboration with
senior management and stakeholders.
- Manage system expectations with team members and
other stakeholders.
- Comply, adapt and use the Group IT standard to
deliver strategic requirements and resources that
support the IT systems in collaboration with senior
management and stakeholders. Contribute information
and make recommendations to strategic plans and
reviews for the systems implementation/ improvement
using the up-to-date approved Group standard
technologies. Perform a proper system test to make
sure it will fit with existing systems.
- Enforcing Group IT Policy and standards, conduct
audits, identify trends, determine system
improvements, implement change.
- Document proposals, project updates, issue
resolutions and deployed systems.
- Manage IT assets. Make sure all IT assets are
registered. Make a recommendation on the way to
manage old assets. Perform physical IT assets check
periodically.
- Software license management using the Group
standard. Maintain 100% compliance within the Group.
- Manage and maintain the branch office systems
throughout the country. Periodic visits are required
to do the on-site health check.
- Conduct training as necessary.
- Managing the team.
- Consistently report to your direct and matrix
managers. Make a feedback/ recommendation when
needed.
• Knowledge Responsibilities:
o Stay up to date on software and hardware developments
for the products used by RMA for which you are
responsible. Share your knowledge with colleagues, in
the team but also in other departments, acting as an
SME (subject matter expert), both informally (directing
people to knowledge resources) and in ‘user training’
sessions.
• Financial Responsibilities:
o Align business systems risk management with local and
group-wide risk management.
o For any IT initiatives, e.g. new deployments or
upgrades, consider a cost-effective approach whereas
the technical results are similar. Try to save cost
whenever possible.
o Monitor operational system, project capacity
requirements and identify areas of risk.
o Reduce risk of failure through continuous improvement.
o Actual IT expense reconciliation compared to budget and perform periodically reviews.
• HR Responsibilities:
o Adheres to all company policies, procedures and
business ethics codes and ensures that they are
communicated and implemented within the team.
o Conducts regular coaching and counseling with team
members to build motivation and technical skills.
o Recruits, evaluates and hires team members based on
criteria agreed upon by senior management.
o Coordinate with HR and Recruitment departments to
source and hire new staff.
• Travel Requirements:
o Visits to other group/customer/vendor sites locally
and nationally may be required: ~10-20%
o Although based in branch/country, visits to other
group/customer/vendor sites internationally may be
required from time to time: ~5-10%
++ Job Requirement
1. At least 5 years in IT related role and 2 years in IT supervisor/ management role.
2. Demonstrate a solid knowledge of IT technical and management overall.
3.Demonstrate a solid knowledge of ITSM/ ITIL. Successful implementation of ITSM/ ITIL.
4.Demonstrate a solid knowledge of IT project management. Having a PMP/ PRINCE2 certification or successful IT project implementation.
5.Demonstrate a solid track record of IT Infrastructure (servers, apps, networks, telephony) rollout and maintenance.
6.Knowledge in software compliance/ licensing.
7.Knowledge in IT security/ compliance.
8.Love to support people in a professional manner.
9.Energetic: You must be self-energetic, can work over hours if needed. Can manage/prioritize your works to make the job done on time.
10.Self-improvement: To grow your skills, self-improvement is also needed. Even the company has a great support on training courses; self-improvement is still being needed – especially in a very dynamic globalization world.
11. Good communicator: As a team member of an international firm, your communication skills need to be well-respected. English are primary skills you must have; any other languages will be beneficial.
