Territory Aftersales Manager – Global Fleet Sales (Thailand)
Overview of the Role
The Territory Aftersales Manager is responsible for developing and driving the Aftersales business (Service and Spare Parts) within the assigned Area of Responsibility (AOR) in Thailand. This role focuses on managing and strengthening sub-dealer relationships, ensuring profitable aftersales operations, and aligning dealer performance with company financial and operational objectives. Acting as a subject matter expert, the incumbent will lead aftersales strategy execution, enhance technician and dealer capabilities, and proactively identify market opportunities to grow service and parts revenue.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships and Aftersales strategy for sub-dealers within the network.
- Achieve assigned Aftersales volume targets and operational objectives in alignment with company goals.
- Develop and implement structured processes to communicate sub-dealer aftersales plans and resolve operational issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute Aftersales and marketing plans; review performance weekly, monthly, and annually to achieve business and market share objectives.
- Conduct and facilitate regular dealer performance review meetings.
- Maintain and update dealer insights, plans, and performance data in the CRM system.
- Monitor market conditions and communicate competitive activities to management in a timely manner.
- Engage dealership personnel (Aftersales, Integrated Solutions, Administration) to define customer solutions and ensure dealer needs are met.
- Represent the company in Aftersales activities, including technology-based products and services.
- Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across all equipment lines.
- Develop and maintain technical training plans for sub-dealer technicians.
- Ensure compliance with OEM key performance indicators and continuously improve to meet required standards.
- Actively participate in local and regional industry associations.
- Support broader business objectives through ad hoc assignments and cross-functional collaboration.
- Achieve Aftersales business targets in both service quality and sales volume.
- Strengthen and expand technician capabilities across the product portfolio.
- Expand distribution network and product line-up in line with business strategy.
Background and Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.
- 5–10 years of experience in service and spare parts sales business and distribution, preferably within the automotive or agricultural industries.
- Comprehensive knowledge of agricultural products.
- Proven managerial experience in Aftersales (service and spare parts) and distribution.
- Strong understanding of dealership management and dealer network development.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute Aftersales business strategies with a track record of operational excellence and results orientation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong planning, organizing, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Good teamwork attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Thai and English.
This role requires frequent national travel (approximately 90%) to manage dealer networks and support business development initiatives across Thailand. While there are no direct reports, the position plays a critical coaching and mentoring role to sub-dealer Aftersales executives and technicians, ensuring capability development and alignment with company standards. The incumbent is also expected to act as a brand advocate internally and externally, continuously developing their expertise and promoting the company's values and market presence.
