Production Team Leader 01

Key Responsibilities

·          Overseeing the production process, drawing up a production schedule;

·          Ensuring that the production is cost effective;

·          Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality;

·          Working out the human and material resources needed;

·          Drafting a timescale for the job;

·          Estimating costs and setting the quality standards;

·          Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed;

·          Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment;

·          Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmed;

·          Liaising among different departments, e.g. suppliers, managers;

·          Working with supervisor / managers to implement the company's policies and goals;

·          Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed;

·          Supervising and motivating a team of workers;

·          Reviewing the performance of subordinates;

·          Identifying training needs.

Education Knowledge and Requirements

·                   Usually require a bachelor's degree - business administration, management, engineering, industrial technology and / or experience in production body builder and manufacturing processes and techniques.

·                   Minimum of 3+ years of production assembly and / or body builder experience, and 1 year at shop floor management position.

·                   knowledge of raw materials.

·                   knowledge of basic quality systems and standards.

·                   knowledge of basic health and safety standards and compliance.

·                   knowledge of process improvement techniques.

·                   knowledge of human resource principles and practices.

·                   knowledge of machines and tools.

·                   knowledge of engineering and technology principles and practices.
