Sales:

  1. For optimizing Ford parts by providing outstanding sales leadership.
  2. A key focus will be sales growth, ensuring that strong sales processes are in place; key focus on workshop sales and wholesales channel
  3. Working with after-sales manager, advising and taking the lead in suggesting and executing innovative marketing and sales ideas
  4. Be a crucial part of a motivated management team, you will be expected to analyze and compile sales competitor market information

Parts Management

  1. Manages the day-to-day operations of the parts department to ensure achievements of key targets
  2. Maintains an efficient parts service to all customer
  3. Ensure systems are used and kept up-to-date to monitor and record relevant data
  4. Maintain stock levels, purchasing within agreed budgets, forecast future inventory storage aligned with sales growth
  5. Monitor stock overages and shortages, and take appropriate actions with the budget Aftersales manager
  6. Review current procedures and recommend opportunities for improvement
  7. Ensure the Parts Team follow procedures and record all transactions, liaising with other departments as required
  8. Working closely with all clients (internal or external) to ensure all orders are managed efficiently and agreed deadlines are achieved.
  9. Ensure tight control of aged stock to minimize obsolescence
  10. Strong warehouse controls, i.e., super session, FIFO, etc.
  11. Ensure financial targets (revenues, margins, etc.) are achieved
  12. Take responsibility for the sales budgeting, ensuring ethical and good compliance and providing regular and timely sales reporting
  13. Maintains agreed profit margins and return on investment by selling the maximum amount of parts
  14. Manages budgetary sending targets, discussing significant variations with the Aftersales Manger. 

Job Requirements: 

  1. Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automotive Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
  2. Knowledge of automotive parts and inventory control practices
  3. Good command of English (spoken and written)
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and basic IT troubleshooting
  5. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  6. Strong leadership and staff coordination abilities.
