Job Description:

Provide technical guidance and support to workshop technicians during daily operations.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex vehicle concerns and technical issues.
Review and validate technical repair reports and workshop documentation.
Prepare and submit Technical Support Requests (TSR) and Global Concern Reports (GCR) with complete and accurate documentation.
Ensure warranty repair procedures and manufacturer guidelines are properly followed.
Support Service Advisors in understanding customer concerns and identifying root causes.
Collaborate with the Technical Manager and workshop team to resolve challenging technical cases.
Ensure all required diagnostic procedures are completed before escalating cases to Ford Technical Assistance Centre (TAC).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Ford products, technical bulletins, service information, and warranty policies.
Conduct technical coaching and knowledge-sharing sessions for workshop personnel when required.
Participate in technical training programs, meetings, and urgent support activities as assigned.
Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the workshop.

Job Requirements

Local and Expatriate Candidates are Welcome to Apply.
Diploma, Vocational Certificate, or Degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Certified Master Technician or equivalent automotive technical certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, including at least 3 years in an advanced diagnostic or technical advisory role.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for modern vehicle systems.
Excellent understanding of automotive repair processes, warranty procedures, and manufacturer standards.
Experience with Ford diagnostic systems and technical support processes is an advantage.
Strong communication and technical report-writing skills in English.
Ability to coach, mentor, and support workshop technicians.
Proactive problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail.
Willingness to attend local and overseas training programs when required.
