Key Responsibilities

  • Greets all customer promptly, provides timely professional services
  • Provides excellent customer service by listening to customer inquiries and requests,
  • Recommends related parts that are needed
  • Ensure necessary parts are available
  • Assists Service Technicians in determining parts requirements
  • Informs customers when special order parts have arrived
  • Build productive working relationships, consult with others as necessary
  • Approachable style, open communication
  • Takes initiative to help others as needed
  • Follow up with customer to ensure that their needs have been met
  • Promotes cooperation and teamwork through actions
  • Effectively handles changes in the Parts Department
  • Maintain composure in dealing with customers
  • Encourages others to value change
  • Managing complexity
  • Understanding and using business knowledge

Education Knowledge and Requirements

  • Achieving High Standards
  • Working effectively with others
  • Handling Pressure Managing Complexity
  • High school degree or equivalent preferred
  • 1 year in an automotive parts environments preferred
  • Moving throughout the Parts Department
  • Using computer to look up information and write up orders
  • Standing 6 to 8 hours during a shift
  • Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing g
  • Using equipment consistent with industry standards
