Parts and Logistics Operations Manager
Overview of the Role
The Parts and Logistics Operations Manager at Global Fleet Sales Thailand (GFSTH) will be based in Bangkok and is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end parts and logistics operations. This role includes managing parts inventory, ensuring efficient inbound and
outbound logistics, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and driving operational excellence within the Parts division under the Aftersales division.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and hands-on manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Manage and monitor spare parts inventory levels to ensure availability and accuracy.
- Optimize stock management, including ordering, receiving, and dispatching.
- Implement processes to enhance parts distribution efficiency.
- Ensure cost-effective logistics operations, including managing shipping and delivery costs.
- Liaise with the GFSTH Management Team, Territory Business Managers, and external partners including sub-dealers and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records and generate regular reports for management review.
Background and Experience
- A degree in Business, Marketing Management, Engineering, or Logistics is preferred.
- Essential skills include: Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Ability to perform data analysis (e.g., pricing structure).
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Functional knowledge of inventory and basic logistics operations.
- Proven track record in sales or operational roles is an advantage.
Additional Details
The role may require occasional travel to sub-dealer locations to support parts operations, but this is expected to be limited (not more than 10% of the time). Strong internal collaboration and external communication with suppliers and customers are crucial for success in this position.
