Automotive Technician (Ford Cambodia)

Overview of the Role

The Automotive Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they are safe, reliable, and in good working condition. The role also involves using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment, maintaining accurate service records, and following company procedures and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicles and diagnose mechanical or electrical issues.
• Repair or replace damaged or faulty parts and components.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake servicing, and tire checks.
• Properly use diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and repair tools.
• Conduct vehicle tests after repairs to ensure proper performance and safety.
• Maintain accurate service and repair records.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment.
• Follow company procedures, technical standards, and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• Basic certificate or training in automotive repair is preferred.
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician or Mechanic is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of vehicle repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to use automotive repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Valid driving license.
