About the job Parts Controller

  • Maintain proper stock levels using the Min-Max system to ensure parts are always available without overstocking.
  • Prepare and monitor Purchase Orders (POs) for regular stock replenishment and urgent VOR (Vehicle Off Road) requirements.
  • Perform regular stock counts to ensure physical inventory matches the Dealer Management System (DMS) and correct any differences.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damage or quantity errors, then store items in the correct bin locations following 5S standards.
  • Check technician requests against the Repair Order (RO) before releasing parts to ensure accurate billing.
  • Handle core and warranty returns for high-value parts such as EV batteries and transmissions, ensuring proper documentation and return tracking.
  • Provide clear and timely updates to Service Advisors regarding parts ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival).
  • Coordinate with local suppliers for non-OEM items such as tires and lubricants to ensure timely and cost-effective supply.
  • Prepare monthly inventory reports to identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete stock, and recommend necessary actions.
