Hourly Wage: $25-$28/hr, depending on experience
Work Shift: Shift options: Mon-Fri, 7:00 am 3:30 pm or 8:00 am 4:30 pm

Responsibilities:
Repair and overhaul aviation fuel systems including servos, flow dividers, and carburetors.
Repair and overhaul other aviation engine components including magnetos, cylinders, alternators, and turbo controllers.
Use a variety of hand and air tools.
Adhere to regulatory, OEM, and company manuals, ensuring compliance with service instructions and bulletins from manufacturers.
Complete accurate documentation, including work performed, and log training hours.
Clean parts using shop equipment such as media blasters, solvent tanks, and jet washes.
Perform maintenance tasks including disassembly and cleaning of aviation piston engines and related parts.
Assist with the daily clean-up of all work areas: sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning work benches, servicing test trucks and maintenance equipment, and removing garbage.
Perform general building and property maintenance.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and strong organizational skills.
Attention to detail and understanding of maintenance shops and applicable equipment.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment.
Self-starter capable of completing individual tasks with minimal supervision and on time.
Ability to respond positively to work direction from supervisor and co-workers.
Strong computer skills and commitment to safety
Previous aerospace experience or training is considered an asset.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying environmental conditions.
Experience with small engine fuel and ignition systems is a strong asset.
Police clearance (RCMP background check) required.
Basic tools.
