Hourly Wage: $30-$40/hr, depending on experience
Work Shift: Shift options: Mon-Fri, 7:00 am 3:30 pm or 8:00 am 4:30 pm

Position Summary:
The AME will assist with the repair and maintenance of piston engines, aeronautical products, and aircraft. This position involves working under the direction of the Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) and assisting with troubleshooting and technical support when required.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the inspection, repair, and overhaul of engines and engine components.
Perform engine disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly.
Inspect and overhaul engine components and accessories.
Conduct engine testing and troubleshooting as required.
Provide mentorship to Junior Technicians, SCA Level 1 and SCA Level 2, as needed.
Adhere to regulatory, OEM, and company manuals, and stay up to date with technical data.
Attend all required training and meetings.
Track training hours and submit to the Quality Assurance Administrator monthly.
Maintain accurate documentation, including Maintenance Releases, work orders, engine conformity reports, timesheets, and vacation requests.
Assist with the daily clean-up of all work areas: sweeping/mopping floors, cleaning workbenches, and servicing maintenance equipment.
Ensure the work area is clean, presentable, and compliant with safety standards.
Follow all company safety procedures and external health and safety policies.
Present yourself professionally at all times.
Actively participate in the companys Quality Assurance Program.
Job Requirements:
Valid BC Class 5 Drivers License.
High school diploma or equivalent.
AME Certificate from an accredited College.
An Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license is required.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills on aircraft piston engines.
Able to read and understand technical data and manuals.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, safety-oriented, and able to take part in team discussions.
Self-starter with the ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong computer skills and excellent oral and written communication.
Takes responsibility for the quality of work and reports any defects when discovered.
Must be comfortable working in both hangar and outdoor environments, with temperatures ranging from -20°C to +40°C.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs without assistance.
Police clearance (RCMP background check) required.
Basic tools.
