Work Shift: Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Permanent Full Time)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Building with high competency with various masonry units and build formats for residential, commercial, and heritage builds

• Hitting production benchmarks and daily build targets efficiently

• Laying bricks and/or stone veneer and fullbed facing

• Build patios, garden walls and other landscape installations

• Lay bricks and/or stones to build or conserve residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces

• Remove, fabricate, and replace stone elements in heritage structures

• Instruct/mentor apprentices

Job Requirements:

• Min of 5 years of masonry experience

• Able to lift up to 50lbs

• Passionate about masonry craftsmanship with pride and excellence

• Strong interpersonal skills and clear communication (verbally and in writing)

• Punctuality and strong personal organization skills

• Maintain a strong commitment to safety, adhering to all protocols and ensuring a secure work environment

• Must have basic masonry tools

• Occasional travel to job sites outside of Victoria

• Valid Drivers license

• Red Seal Bricklayer (401A) ticket is not required but would be an asset
