• Working Shift Afternoon (Starting at 4:30 PM) + 10% Shift premium
• Industry - Aerospace / Nuclear Parts Manufacturer
• Wage - Wage Including shift premium wage is -$27/hr-$35/hr

Duties and responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling-Turning Machinist to produce high-precision aerospace components. The successful candidate will operate CNC milling-turning machines, perform quality inspections, and maintain a safe working environment.

Position Description:

• Set up and operate Multi-Axis CNC Mill-Turn machines
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications
• Machine complex aerospace components to tight tolerances
• Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
• Maintain accurate records of production and quality control
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize processes
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet production deadlines
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean workspace
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• 2 to 5 years of experience in CNC milling - turning
• The aerospace industry experiences an asset
• Post-secondary diploma or certificate in Machining or related field
• Proficient in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code, M-code)
• Strong understanding of geometric tolerancing and dimensional inspection
• Familiarity with quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 9001)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
