We are excited to announce two new job opportunities! We are seeking talented individuals to join our team in the following roles:

  1. - Overhead Cranes Technician
  2. - Field Hydraulics Technician 

Below are the job descriptions for each role:

Job Title: Overhead Cranes Technician

We are seeking a skilled Overhead Cranes Technician to join our team. As a member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing installations, repairs, and maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • - Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
  • - Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
  • - Perform crane inspections, repairs, installations, and respond to breakdown calls
  • - Inspect hoists, cranes, systems, chain falls, and pullers
  • - Display a professional image and work within a team environment to accomplish goals
  • - Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • - Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
  • - Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
  • - Minimum 2 years of experience
  • - Electrical (309a/442a) or Mechanical (433a) License is an asset
  • - Critical thinking skills
  • - Excellent people and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • - Current driver's license in good standing
  • - Lifting up to 50lbs
  • - Willingness to work overtime

Job Title: Field Hydraulics Technician

We are seeking skilled Hydraulics Millwright Field Technicians to join our team. As a member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support for field installations, inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities:

  • - Provide expert technical guidance and support for field installations, inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance
  • - Conduct on-site evaluations to analyze systems, equipment, and processes
  • - Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
  • - Prepare field service reports, and inspection checklists, and submit accurate time sheets and expense reports
  • - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Requirements:

  • - Strong experience with heavy machinery background
  • - Strong background in machine assembly, controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fluid power
  • - Ability to travel 75% of the year (international and local)
  • - Valid passport and driver's license
  • - Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
  • - Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training
  • - Minimum 2 years of experience
