About the job Pre-sales & Business Analyst
Job Context:
Riseup Labs is seeking a Presales & Business Analyst to support software solution consulting and presales activities for local and international clients. The role involves understanding client requirements, preparing business and technical documentation, assisting in solution design, estimating project scope, and supporting proposal preparation for software development projects across B2B and B2C domains.
Job Responsibilities:
- Presales Support
- Analyze client requirements and business needs.
- Assist in preparing Scope of Work (SoW), technical proposals, and financial proposals.
- Support solution definition, project scoping, and requirement analysis.
- Contribute to effort estimation, budgeting, and project planning.
- Assist in identifying project risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Business Analysis
- Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Prepare BRD, SRS, PRD, user stories, workflows, and process documentation.
- Create use cases, UML diagrams, wireframes, and workflow diagrams where necessary.
- Coordinate with technical teams to validate requirements and proposed solutions.
- Client Interaction
- Participate in discovery sessions and client meetings.
- Assist in requirement clarification and solution discussions.
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the presales phase.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with Business Development, UI/UX, Engineering, QA, and Delivery teams.
- Support smooth knowledge transfer from presales to project execution.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure alignment among stakeholders.
- AI & Productivity
- Utilize AI tools to improve documentation, research, estimation, and proposal preparation.
- Continuously improve documentation quality and workflow efficiency.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical documentation.
- Good presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
Experience & Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Presales Business Analyst in the software industry.
- Experience preparing software proposals and project documentation.
- Experience working with local and international clients is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Additional Requirements
- Understanding of BRD, SRS, PRD, and other business documentation.
- Knowledge of process modeling, UML, use cases, and workflow design.
- Familiarity with software estimation and proposal preparation.
- Experience with PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.
- Hands-on experience with Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, Figma, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience using Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar project management tools.
- Exposure to AI-assisted documentation and research tools will be considered an advantage.
- Experience in SaaS or software product companies is preferred.
Workplace:
- Uttara, Dhaka
Working hour:
- 9.00 AM to 6.00 PM
