About the job Technical Lead
Position Overview :
Riseup Labs is looking for a highly capable Technical Lead (Tech Lead) to guide our development team, shape technical direction, and ensure delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should be a strong hands-on engineer with leadership qualities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and manage a development team while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Technical Leadership
• Lead the design, architecture, and development of web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
• Make key technical decisions and recommend best-in-class frameworks, tools, and practices.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices.
• Ensure system scalability, performance, and security across all solutions.
2. Team Management & Mentorship
• Guide, mentor, and support developers to improve their technical skills.
• Allocate tasks, review work, and provide constructive feedback.
• Support project managers in sprint planning, task estimation, and workload distribution.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and high performance.
3. Solution Design & Architecture
• Translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Create system architecture diagrams, database designs, API specifications, and integration plans.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to design deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
4. Hands-On Development
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code when required.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide strategic solutions.
• Participate in prototyping, R&D activities, and proof-of-concept (POC) development.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Product Managers, Project Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA engineers, and leadership.
• Participate in client meetings to explain technical details and provide expert recommendations.
• Support technical documentation for proposals, SOWs, and project specifications.
Required Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 5–7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, Microservices), and cloud technologies.
• Expert-level skills in one or more stacks (e.g., MERN, LAMP, .NET, Java, Python, mobile technologies).
• Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases, REST APIs, version control (Git), and CI/CD.
Preferred Qualifications :
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and development tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Experience with AI/ML integration, data engineering, or IoT systems is a plus.

Working hour:
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
