Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for a highly skilled SecDevOps Engineer to design, automate, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure for our mobile gaming platform and web services. This role combines deep technical expertise in build/release engineering, cloud automation, and security practices.

Responsibilities:

• Own and maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for Unity mobile apps (iOS & Android), including delivery to the App Store, Google Play, TestFairy, and internal archives.
• Design, implement, and optimize Azure DevOps pipelines for:
  ○ React TypeScript web apps integrating with internal and external APIs (e.g., Stripe).
  ○ .NET Core / C# web services running in Docker containers on Azure.
• Manage and automate content delivery workflows using Azure CDN.
• Configure and maintain Cloudflare for DNS automation, traffic routing, and security rules.
• Administer and support Firebase services including Remote Config, Authentication, Events/Analytics, and Cloud Functions.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices: secrets management, code scanning, artifact integrity, container scanning, and compliance checks.
• Build automation scripts (Bash, PowerShell, Python) to streamline infrastructure and deployment tasks.
• Support monitoring, logging, and incident response across services.
• Document infrastructure, pipelines, and operational runbooks for team use.

Educational Requirements:

• B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

Additional Requirements:

• 7+ years of DevOps/SecDevOps experience in production environments.
• Strong expertise with Jenkins (pipeline as code, build agents, mobile build automation).
• Hands-on experience with Unity build automation for iOS (Xcode, provisioning, certificates) and Android (Gradle, signing, Play Store).
• Proven ability with Azure DevOps (pipelines, YAML, environments, Key Vault, App Services, Container Registry).
• Proficiency in deploying .NET Core / C# services in Docker containers on Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure CDN, Cloudflare DNS/traffic management, and API-based automation.
• Practical experience with Firebase services (Auth, Remote Config, Analytics, Functions).
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, and familiarity with Terraform/Bicep for IaC.
• Strong background in security practices: vulnerability scanning, secure secrets handling, and compliance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot build, deployment, and infrastructure issues quickly.

Must Have:

• Experience supporting gaming platforms or media delivery apps.
• Knowledge of Unity Addressables/CDN workflows.
• Familiarity with children’s content compliance (COPPA, GDPR).
• Monitoring/observability tools (App Insights, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, or Grafana)
