About the job Graphics Designer
Job Context:
Riseup Labs is looking to hire a Graphics Designer, who'll craft visually captivating designs for diverse platforms, aligning with brand objectives. Collaborate with teams, utilizing design software and staying abreast of trends.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze design briefs and respond to graphical requirements quickly.
- Conceptualize visual elements as required by the team.
- Draft initial design ideas, present them for consideration, and alter them as necessary efficiently.
- Create illustrations, logos, and other graphic elements digitally.
- Select suitable colors and design layouts.
- Collaborate with copywriters and a creative director to finalize designs.
- Recommend and collaborate in creating a social media strategy.
- Ensure the final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and align with brand guidelines.
- Manage and adhere to a Content Calendar.
- Produce a broad spectrum of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, websites, and more with software such as Photoshop.
- Review final layouts and propose necessary improvements.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor degree from any discipline
Additional Experience:
- Demonstrated expertise in graphic design with past work experience.
- A robust portfolio showcasing illustrations and other graphics.
- Proficiency in design software and technologies (like InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Figma).
- Strong understanding of aesthetics and details with profound communication abilities.
- Capacity to work systematically and meet strict deadlines.
- An academic background in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field is advantageous.
- At least one year of experience in graphic design.
- Effective time management and coordination skills.
- Knowledge of branding, marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, advertisements, and multimedia design is a plus.
