Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for an Admission Officer- Student Enrolment. This role is ideal for someone with a background in the Australian vocational education and training (VET) sector and a strong interest in supporting international student enrolment. As an Admission Officer, you will be responsible for reviewing applications, verifying documents, coordinating with internal teams, and managing enrolment processes using education systems and platforms. Although remote, this position requires real-time collaboration with Sydney-based and global teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess student applications, including academic records, Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) documentation, and Statements of Purpose (SOP), and provide detailed feedback.
  • Liaise with students, education agents, and internal departments (Marketing, Student Support, Recruitment) to process and finalize enrolments.
  • Use the PRISMS system to generate and manage Confirmation of Enrolments (CoEs) in compliance with CRICOS and ESOS requirements.
  • Coordinate with partner institutions on application processing, documentation, and issuance of Letters of Offer.
  • Maintain accurate records using the Student Management System (eSkilled), CRM tools, and other platforms.
  • Ensure timely data entry and document management for all prospective and enrolled students.
  • Prepare regular reports (weekly/monthly) on application status and enrolment progress for the Head of Marketing and Principal.
  • Advise students on document preparation and submission requirements.
  • Support SSC's compliance and quality assurance processes related to student admissions.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the management team.

Educational Requirements:

  • A Level/ Graduation in any discipline

Additional Requirements:

  • Previous experience in international student admissions for an Australian CRICOS-registered institution.
  • Strong working knowledge of student visa processes, GTE, SOP standards, and CRICOS/ESOS frameworks.
  • Proficiency in using Student Management Systems (e.g., eSkilled), CRMs, and digital tools such as Zoom, MS Office Suite, and Google Workspace.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in a cross-cultural context.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under time constraints.
  • Capable of working independently in a remote team environment across different time zones.
  • Organized with strong documentation and data entry skills.
