Job Context:

Riseup Labs is looking for a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to lead the design and development of scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in front-end and back-end technologies, along with a strong understanding of database management. Collaboration with teams, code reviews, and mentorship will be key responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define, architect, and develop innovative features.
  • Serve as an ambassador for best web practices, advising on capabilities and limitations, and sharing your expertise.
  • Contribute to our codebase with clean, tested, and observable code.
  • Transform wireframes and high-fidelity comps into robust, efficient, and functional code.
  • Own your code from inception to release, ensuring it’s polished and correct before going live.
  • Evaluate, improve, and optimize our codebase continuously.

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven track record of owning architecture and design decisions on large-scale consumer websites.
  • Full stack experience, including API development.
  • Extensive experience collaborating with Product and Design teams.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Mastery of JavaScript, with a deep understanding of closures, lexical scope, and prototypical inheritance.
  • Expertise in React and Node.js.
  • Proficiency in modern web technologies.
  • Confidence in taking ownership of end-to-end architecture documentation.

Workplace: 

  • Remote

Working Hours:

  • 8 Pm - 4 Am
