Job Context:

Riseup Labs looking for an experienced IT System and Network Admin who manages and maintains the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security. Responsibilities include configuring network hardware, troubleshooting system issues, implementing security measures, and supporting end-users. This role requires strong technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure seamless IT operations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Call Center Software Configuration and Administration: Must have experience in ACD (Automatic Call Distributor), Interactive Voice Response, CRM (systems Customer Relationship Management) System, WFM (Workforce Management) software.
  • Telephony Infrastructure Management: Must have experience in VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) and PBX (Private Branch Exchange) Systems Implement and maintain.
  • Network and Security Infrastructure Administration: Proven experience in a network administrator role, Hands-on experience in networking, routing, and switching), Experience with Firewalls (Cisco/Palo Alto/Fortinet/SonicWALL) configured and maintained, IPsec VPN remote implementation, Antivirus and Anti-malware Software installation and configuration.
  • Hardware and System Configuration and Maintenance: Workstations Maintain and upgrade computers for agents to access call center software and CRM. Servers: Manage servers hosting call center applications, databases, and other critical software
  • Backup and Recovery System Administration:  Data Backup Manage data servers for storing customer data, call recordings, and other critical information in the Remote/NAS-Storage, Backup Solutions: Implement regular backups to prevent data loss and ensure data recovery.
  • Windows and Linux System Administration: Install, configure, and maintain Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, Perform system updates, patches, and
    configuration changes as needed, Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues on both platforms, AD and LDAP Implement and Administration.

Educational Requirements:

  • B.Sc in Computer Science and Engineering from any reputed public or private university.

Additional Requirements:

  • Remote Workspace Solution: MS-Remote Desktop Services, VMware Horizon View, Citrix XenApp, Amazon Workspaces, GC-Remote Desktop
  • Virtualization: Implement and manage virtualization technologies (VMware, Proxmox) to optimize resource utilization. Create and manage virtual machines (VMs) for various applications and services.
  • Network Monitoring and Debugging: Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues, Utilize network monitoring tools to identify and resolve network-related problems.
  • Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts to streamline IT operations and improve efficiency, Use automation tools to manage repetitive tasks and reduce manual
    intervention.
  • Redundancy and Failover: Ensure backup systems are in place to maintain operations in case of hardware failure or other disruptions.
  • Scalability: Choose solutions that can scale with the growth of the call center.
  • Compliance: Ensure all solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, PCI DSS).
  • Experience: Above 5 years’ experience needed on network field

Workplace: 

  • Uttara, Dhaka

Working Hours:

  • Between 7 Pm - 8 Am (9 Hours)

Salary: 

  • Negotiable (Based on experience and skills)
