Position: Junior Scrum Master / project Manager

Number of hours: TBA
Schedule: EST

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in facilitating Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.

  • Track sprint progress, project milestones, and team deliverables.

  • Help identify and remove minor impediments affecting team productivity, escalating complex issues when necessary.

  • Maintain project plans, sprint boards, backlogs, and project documentation.

  • Support PMO reporting by preparing project status updates, dashboards, and meeting minutes.

  • Coordinate with developers, QA, designers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication.

  • Monitor task assignments and follow up on action items.

  • Ensure Agile processes and team workflows are followed consistently.

  • Assist in managing project risks, issues, and dependencies.

  • Contribute to documentation, process improvements, and knowledge sharing.

  • Support simple feature delivery, documentation updates, bug tracking, and basic testing coordination when assigned.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.

  • 1–2 years of experience in Agile project coordination, Scrum, Project Management, or PMO support.

  • Basic understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, Asana, or ClickUp.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.


Preferred Certifications:

  • Scrum Foundations

  • Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I)

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner

  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
