Position: Automation Tester / Performance Tester - Junior
Number of hours: 40 hours / week

Key Responsibilities
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
Assist in maintaining automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
Support performance testing activities by creating and executing basic performance test scripts using JMeter or LoadRunner.
Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
Analyze test execution results and report defects using defect management tools.
Validate bug fixes through automated and manual regression testing.
Assist in preparing test plans, test cases, automation scripts, and performance test documentation.
Collaborate with developers, manual testers, business analysts, and project teams to ensure software quality.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Support CI/CD pipeline testing and contribute to continuous testing initiatives.
Follow QA standards, automation best practices, and secure software testing principles.
Escalate technical issues and testing challenges to senior QA engineers when necessary.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
0–2 years of experience in software testing, automation testing, or application development.
Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Familiarity with test automation concepts and frameworks.
Basic knowledge of Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
Basic understanding of performance testing concepts using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
Basic knowledge of Git and version control systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under close guidance and daily supervision.
