About the job Business Development Manager
Tasks required:
Research and identify leads for new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets
Generate leads through different channels
Identify business prospects and decision-makers in target markets
Meet with customers to present the products of our clients and close deals
Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients
Reach out to prospects and clients to provide updates and send follow-ups via email
Maintain Business Development database via CRM
Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
Work with the business development team in order to implement strategic plans of the company
Coordinate with the HR /Recruitment team regarding endorsement of candidates, requirement/vacancy updates, client appointments, etc.
Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned
Requirements:
Proven work experience as Business Development Manager
Excellent presentation skills for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
Experience in B2B sales
Experience in lead generation
Knowledge with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Excellent selling, closing, persuasion and presentation skills
Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and Zoom
Knowledge with ClickUp is a plus
Must have an upbeat personality and can keep conversations flowing with ease
Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision
