Position: Social Media Manager
Number of hours: 10 hours/week
Schedule: EST


Tasks required:

  • Manage the social media channels of the client (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, TikTok, etc.)

  • Set up and/or optimize company pages within each platform to increase the company's social content visibility

  • Schedule daily posts on different social media platforms

  • Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification

  • Analyze conversion funnels, identifying and optimizing key messaging opportunities to help attract and retain customers

  • Mapping out a strong long term social media strategy to create brand longevity in the market

  • Review site content, conversion funnels, analytics and statistics to make recommendations for new and creative growth strategies

  • Generate new ideas for social media posts and execute them from start to finish, including occasional video and photo editing

  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) to build meaningful connections

  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

  • Respond regularly to various engagements (Comments, DM’s, reposting, likes)

  • Prepare monthly progress reports to measure the success of social media campaign

  • Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned


Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years of proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or a relevant experience

  • Experience and knowledge of sports, specifically golf, is required

  • Experience with creative writing and can create compelling content to effectively engage the target audience

  • Can work independently and with minimum supervision

  • Knowledge of utilizing various graphic design and video editing software

  • Ability to use Canva and Adobe Creative Suite efficiently

  • Familiarity in using social media analytics software

  • Excellent working knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Spotify and Tiktok for business purposes

  • Well versed in social media marketing and advertising

  • Knowledge in engaging and interacting with the different types of demographics

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills

  • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
