Position: Sales Representative

Number of hours: 40 hrs/week

Job duration: 3 months

Schedule: SG Time


Tasks required:

  • Handle inbound and/or outbound calls to offer and educate the customers on the benefits of the products and/or services of the client to promote sales

  • Cold call prospects to sell the products and services of the client

  • Provide information about product’s features, prices etc. and present their benefits

  • Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer’s requirements

  • Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs

  • Email clients to answer any questions, schedule meetings with a salesperson, or reschedule meetings as needed

  • Communicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments

  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects

  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.

  • Upsell customers to larger products, more extensive packages, or higher priced services.

  • Keep detailed record of call logs and enter data accurately and consistently into the company's database.

  • Must have the ability to create responses aligned with the company’s messaging and drive the conversation to an appointment.

  • Generate and source out leads through various channels.

  • Other ad hoc tasks that would be assigned


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a virtual Sales Representative is required. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Marketing or related field
  • Experience in the banking or finance industry is required.

  • Understanding of banking solutions and financial services

  • Working knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
  • Sales skills, including prospecting, lead generation and closing deals.

  • Great customer service skills

  • Excellent selling, closing, persuasion and presentation skills.

  • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network.
  • Clear and concise communicator with a neutral English accent and effective verbal communication skills
  • Self-disciplined and organized; able to consistently hit daily and monthly targets with limited supervision.
